sells through IT channel partners, extending the partner’s existing
IT business exponentially. Saga effectively transforms their small
or medium IT business into a large IT bid and delivery machine. By
tapping into the Saga 12,000+ consultant and IT integrator member
network, resellers can immediately 1) increase their CAPABILITIES to
bid on any job, 2) get immediate RESOURCES to help price and bid the
most complex jobs in record time, and 3) maintain complete CONTROL
of all their accounts.
Nature of the Position
You will call on IT resellers and vendors in an assigned
geographical area. This is primarily a phone sales position although
in-person visits may help close more deals. You will be required to
recruit and sign new resellers and vendors into a channel partner
relationship with Saga Consulting Services. You will then sell
consultatively and make recommendations to the partner of the
various solutions the company offers to address their client’s
business issues. You will work within the sales and recruiting teams
for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation,
and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
You will get paid for signing new partners and as you sell
consulting services and solutions through these partners.
Requirements
We expect prior successful sales experience getting through to
corporate buying and other senior staff, and business owners. You
need to be highly polished, credible, educated, with a professional
demeanor able to establishing a strong long-term relationship.
Superior written and oral communication skills are absolutely
required when working at this level. A bachelor’s degree or
equivalent education is preferred.
If you have previous channel sales experience then you go to the
head of the line.
We also appreciate the fact that many highly qualified reps may not
look as good on paper as they are in the real-world. Convince us
that that is the case and you will make it on the team.
Work Schedule
This position is available primarily full-time. Hours are
completely flexible. We focus on results obtained not hours worked
and want to see that a serious effort is made to prospect and get
new clients. A part-time schedule may be accommodated for
exceptional candidates with a relevant existing customer base.
Work Location
Sales are initiated and may be finalized entirely by phone.
In-person visits will significantly increase your odds for success
and your income. You will work from your home office. No commuting
is required.
Training
Extensive initial and continuous training is provided, all via
conference calls and the team website. Sales training covers theory
so you can appreciate the sales process and tactics so you can
master that process.
Pay Plan
This is an independent contractor position, thus no salary or
benefits are possible. Instead we pay a high commission rate.
Commissions come in monthly as customers are invoiced. Earnings can
grow geometrically as you add new accounts and previous ones renew
and add to their orders. $10K to $20K and more per month is
realistic at target.

entrepreneurial opportunity. We want to attract independent
self-motivated producers that don't mind high effort if the pay
matches. Only those that prefer commission positions, and are ready
to make a serious commitment to succeed, doing whatever it takes to
get ramped up fast, will be considered.
